Halstead go back to the top

Halstead regained their 2 point advantage at the top of the Premier, after beating Nomads 4 - 3. Its now up to Halstead to win their last game, again versus Nomads, to secure the Premier League Title. Halsteads charge to the title did not got without a hitch, however, and having taken a 4 goal lead, they let Nomads back into the game and almost gave away an equaliser in the dying minutes. Goals from Richard Bryce, Dan Chick, Michael Sterling and Chris Johal ensured the season goes down to the last game on 03rd May.

Reserves continue winning run

Halstead Reserves went into the game against rock bottom Westerham 3rd thinking this was going to be a goal fest. How wrong they were ! Westerham put up a spirited fight to belie their league position and Halstead came away with the narrowist of victories winning 2 -1 . They have veteran and Halstead legend Pete Smith to thank after he notched a brace, his 15th and 16th goals of the season respectively. He needs just one more goal to secure this season golden boot.
